KAIANE DESIGNS, founded in 2019, is conceived as a fashion house structured around authorship, restraint and permanence.
The House exists to articulate the principles that govern the work — shaping how collections are imagined, how presence is
expressed, and how authority is held through restraint and clarity. The Kaiane Collections are shaped by a modern interpretation of
femininity and grounded in balance — between East and West, confidence and vulnerability, authority and softness.
Expression here is a deliberate invitation for authorship with discernment.
FOUNDER & GUARDIAN
As Editor, Creative Director, and Guardian, Kayane Mahrejian maintains deliberate low visibility. Her role is custodial rather than expressive — safeguarding the House’s aesthetic language, coherence, and integrity. The Founder is the steward ensuring discipline, continuity, and long-term authority.
THE CREATIVE PROCESS
Creation is guided by intention and presence. Decisions are shaped by proportion, balance, and clarity. What is worn is understood as an extension of self — expressed quietly, without excess, and without explanation.
COLLECTIONS
The House develops collections as part of a continuous body of work. Each piece contributes to an evolving language rather than a fixed moment, prioritising permanence over novelty. Silhouettes are considered, restrained, and designed to remain relevant beyond seasonal cycles
LUXURY
Luxury, as defined by the House, is rooted in selectivity and purpose. Quality is upheld over quantity. Access is aligned rather than transactional. Value is preserved through restraint.
CULTURAL CAPITAL
